Unlimited PTO
Firehawk Aerospace provides employees with flexible PTO at the start of their employment. We know how hard employees work and recognize the importance of providing time for rest and relaxation. The purpose of this flexible Paid Time Off (PTO) policy is to provide employees with the flexibility to take time off as needed to maintain a healthy work-life balance. We encourage the time off while ensuring that business needs are met.
Flexible Schedule
We offer a flexible scheduling option to help you manage work and life more effectively. You can choose between a traditional 5/40 schedule — working 8 hours a day, 5 days a week — or a 9/80 schedule, where you work 9 hours Monday through Thursday and alternate Fridays off by working 8 hours one Friday, and having the next one off.
Paternity/Maternity Leave
We offer paid parental leave to support employees during important family milestones. New mothers receive up to 12 weeks of paid maternity leave, while fathers are eligible for 6 weeks of paid paternity leave.
Medical Health Care
We offer comprehensive medical coverage through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, with three plan options to fit your needs: a high-deductible health plan, and two PPO options.
Dental Health Care
We offer dental coverage through MetLife, with two plan options designed to meet your needs. The MetLife Your Choice PPO with $1,000 annual benefit maximum and MetLife Platinum PPO with a higher $5,000 annual benefit maximum, and that includes orthodontics.
Vision Health Care
Firehawk Aerospace offers group coverage through Aetna. It covers an eye exam every 12 months, allowances for contacts and frames. Additionally, out of network reimbursements and additional discounts are available.
Short Term Disability
Our short-term disability benefit provides financial support when you’re unable to work due to illness or injury. This coverage can replace up to 60% of your income, helping you manage expenses while you focus on recovery.
